Danang is one of the five largest socio-economic centers in Vietnam. The city is situated on the Central Heritage Road. Also, Danang is considered as an ideal destination attracting both domestic and foreign tourists with many famous tourist attractions and the long beaches with smooth sand and pure blue water, which were voted as some of the most attractive beaches on the planet.

Danang is an ancient land, yet a modern city. It is closely related with the Sa Huynh cultural traditions. Many imposing, palaces, towers, temples, citadels and ramparts, the vestiges from 1st to 13th are still to be existed in Cham Museum. The modern of city presents in its growth to be a great urban mass filled with industries, buildings, roads, and a large number of populations that makes it a dynamic and crowded city. Danang at night is sparkling, brilliant, and gorgeous like a paradise on earth. Moreover, there’s a great asset of Danang is that its people are active, open-hearted, and very offhanded.
The beauty of modern Danang today also has been created by the stunning masterpiece of bridges crossing over the Han River; the unique architectural works and the spacious streets stretching from the city center to the suburbs as well. They are not only for transportation but also contribute a huge potential tourism value.
Danang has two clearly separate seasons including the rainy season (about from August to December) and the dry season (from January to July). It is enjoyable and so great. The city has 70km of beautiful coastline, bathed with sunshine for much of the year. In 2005, Danang beach was recognized as one of the most luxurious beaches in the world.
Danang has other various interesting attractions such as Ba Na Tourist Resort, Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains) as well as the Linh Ung Pagoda, and My An, Non Nuoc beaches, stretching on dozens of kilometers.
The gorgeous Ba Na Mountain Resort has a temperate climate, fresh air, unspoiled forest and gorgeous views over the city of Danang's inspiring bay and surrounds that is only far forty minutes away from Danang. The nearby Son Tra Peninsular is a natural conservation area and an ecological tourist site which is suitable for diving, swimming and fishing. The Museum of Cham Sculpture, the only museum in Southeast Asia, preserves the unique Cham cultural heritage of the region, reflects the spiritual life and the religion of Cham people. The beautiful and spiritual Ngu Hanh Son or Marble Mountains are one of the municipal symbols and less than 10 kilometers away from Danang.
Annually, Danang hosts many festivals, including Quan The Am Buddhist Festival and Cau Ngu, a traditional festival for fishermen. Traditional Vietnamese singing such as Hat Tuong, Bai Choi, Ho Cheo Thuyen and Ho Khoan (traditional question and answer song) are often performed in Danang along with traditional music and dance. Especially, the Danang International Fireworks Competition in April is a unique cultural and tourism event of the city.
World class resorts with well-known branches such as Hyatt, Sommerset, Hilton, Le Meridien, etc. are being built in the city. There are different kinds of tourist facilities and entertainment services (golf courses, casino, etc.) to meet all requirements and budgets, and excellent restaurants and coffee to satisfy all tastes.
As the sun goes down, the stars come out and make a perfect blend with city lights. On the Han River Bridge, the space is lit up sparklingly. From the bridge, we can see the two banks brighten up by lights from every houses and shops. Walking along the bridge, you can view a bright and beautiful way leads to the mountains. Colorful lights of the bridge reflect on the river that make the scene extremely breath-taking and splendid.
