Phu Quoc, is also known as Pearl land, is the largest island of Vietnam. Lying in the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border, Phu Quoc is blessed with beautiful white sandy beaches, blue sea and abundant marine resources which make it an attractive island. Owning harmonious scenery, cool pleasant climate during the year, Phu Quoc has become one of the most worth-visiting destinations of Vietnam.

Phu Quoc is referred to as “The heaven on the ground”. When coming here, people have chance to admire and discover the unspoiled natural beauty of the primeval forests, coral reefs in crystal clean water or tropical gardens along the sea. In addition, people who come here can learn about the process of making fish sauce, pearl farm, watching the endless green pepper gardens and many resorts with international standards.

There are a lot of beaches here. In particular, Sao Beach is the most famous for its pristine look. Sao Beach is also dubbed “First Beach”, located in enclosed bay so it has freak waves. Visitors can not only swim but also go fishing in not sunny afternoons, watching waves gently hit the ashore which is very interesting. Besides, Phu Quoc has diverse sea ecosystem in An Thoi archipelago or in Mong Tay, Doi Moi, and Thay Boi islets. These are ideal places for visitors to discover the ocean world. The coral reefs here are classified as large in abundance with 17 types of hard, soft and various anemones. For whom like adventure, they can take tour of scuba diving, or explore primeval forest. Da Ngon stream Ecology Reserve area locates downstream the streams deriving from Ham Ninh mountain range. This is the ideal place for outside activities, hiking and swim in springs, immerse in cool water, enjoy the feeling of euphoria with the nature.

Phu Quoc is not only beautiful in the sea, but also in the red soil roads, the murmuring crystal springs nestles in mountains as Da Ban, Tien, Hang, Tranh streams. Particularly, it offers specialties as Phu Quoc grilled chicken in a small shop at the foot of the stream. Chicken is marinated with its own secret, grilled on the red charcoal bowl beside dining table which is set up with lettuce, sweet and sour sauce with native taste. In addition, visitors can enjoy sea specialties as “Coi bien mai”, fish sauce, pepper, wine, crow mine wine or pearl. Especially, Phu Quoc is well-known as manufacture of high-quality fish sauce which is one of products exported to foreign countries. Here, “Pearl Farm” is where produce sauce with huge quanity. Fish sauce is produced from fresh raw long-jawed anchovies, known throughout the country and abroad.

Phu Quoc National Park is primeval forests with 929 species of plants, 144 species of animals living in an area of 370 square km. Tourists arriving here will immerse in the most natural ecosystem in temperate climate, which is great for sightseeing and convalescence. Phu Quoc prison, known as coconut tree prison, is a dangerous and also a worth visiting place. It has detained more than 32,000 prisoners, witnessed over 4,000 people dead and thousands of wounded people. Visitors will see and understand the barbarous punishments of torture, what the revolution soldiers had to experience in this place. Come and feel in your own way!

Night markets as Duong Dong, Dinh Cau markets are great places for tourists to explore and enjoy various kinds of food. This is where has the most delicious seafood as cuttle, lobster, cobia and hundreds of other fish.
