The best time for tourists to travel here is from September to November or from March to May. At this time, the weather is relatively stable with sunny days and cool nights. During April and May, Sapa is flooded with flower proliferation and the green fields.

Travelers visiting Sapa will have the opportunity to conquer the famous Fansipan which is also known as “The roof of Indochina”; explore the mountains themselves with a trip to the dusty villages of ethnic minorities; or hike through glittering rice terraces witnessing how the current of life has bubbled in this land for centuries.

As a cold land, Sapa is famous for its specialty vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, chayote,… The meat from “lon cap nach” is also well-liked. This kind of pork which is very tasty, sipped with the cider wine of Sapa will captivate any fastidious appetizer. Do not overlook the fish dishes which are made of fishes living in streams of Sapa in Muong Tien, Muong Hoa. No one can deny the magnetism of this food when he has a chance to taste it.
