Candle Festival is the most important festival of the Ubon Ratchani - the ending land Mekong River flows through in Thailand. This festival is celebrated annually to mark the start of Buddhist Lent.

To prepare for the festival, local people spend months on carving amazingly candle wax in all shapes and all sizes. On the festive day, there are procession of hundred of large floats decorated by candle which will surely make you amazed and unbelievable.
